Scalebaltic is an Estonian car brokerage. We sell on a brokered basis and broker vehicles with a valid or recently expired factory warranty.
Buying privately is cheap but risky. Buying from a dealership is safe but expensive. Our job is to combine the two: a warranty-backed car at a private-market price.
We take on few cars and do every deal properly — from sourcing to handover. That is how trust is built.
We do not buy cars in or sell them in our own name. Our role is to bring seller and buyer together: the contract is between those two and the money moves from the buyer straight to the seller. Under Estonian law that is a brokerage contract, not a consignment one.
Throughout the sale the car remains the owner’s property and stays in their possession. They can keep driving it and decide on every offer themselves. We take neither the car onto a forecourt nor the proceeds into a broker account.
The brokerage fee is 4.5% of the sale price, minimum €700, with the €99 advance paid on signing deducted from it. If the car does not sell, the seller owes nothing more — the advance covers the work done. The seller pays it — nothing is added to the buyer’s price.
